For the performance of its activities relating to the front end of the nuclear fuel cycle, ENUSA has the Juzbado Fuel Element Manufacturing Facility, in the province of Salamanca. The plant produces fuel for light water reactors and has an annual production capacity equivalent to 300 tons of enriched uranium.

It has three lines for the manufacturing of uranium oxide fuel for pressurised water and boiling water plants and a fourth for the manufacturing of gadolinium oxide fuel rods.
