• Purposes of processing: to manage and respond to enquiries or requests submitted through the channels provided for this purpose. Where the data subject has given consent by selecting the corresponding checkbox, their data will also be used to send FORO NUCLEAR’s email newsletter containing information about nuclear energy and the latest developments in the sector.
• Legal basis: the processing of the data provided to manage and respond to an enquiry or request is based on the consent of the data subject, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The sending of the newsletter is also based on the data subject’s express consent. This consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
• Data retention: data relating to enquiries and requests will be retained for as long as necessary to respond to them and, subsequently, for the applicable statutory limitation periods. Data used to send the newsletter will be retained until the data subject withdraws their consent or unsubscribes.
• Recipients: personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law. Mailchimp, a service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC, is used as a data processor to manage and send the newsletter.
• International data transfers: the use of Mailchimp may involve the processing and transfer of personal data to the United States and other countries in which Mailchimp or its subprocessors operate. These transfers are carried out using the safeguards provided for under applicable data protection legislation, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and incorporated into Mailchimp’s Data Processing Addendum. • Your rights: you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, as well as exercise your rights to object to or restrict its processing and your right to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent or lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
