GDES strengthens its strategic alliances for the Spanish and French nuclear markets
The Spanish industrial energy services company GDES, a member of Foro Nuclear, and the South Korean company KEPCO Plant Service & Engineering Co., Ltd. (KEPCO KPS) have formalized a cooperation agreement that aims to promote mutual development and nuclear cooperation in the Spanish and French markets for the maintenance of nuclear power plants, as explained by GDES in a press statement.
The alliance between GDES and KEPCO KPS brings together GDE's long-standing expertise in the European nuclear sector and KEPCO KPS's strong technological capabilities as a leading South Korean provider of operation, diagnostics and maitenance service for energy facilities," GDES says.
The Spanish GDES and the South Korean KEPCO KPS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote mutial development and nuclear cooperation with the Spanish and French markets
The agreement, signed on November 17 at KEPCO facilities in Naju-si, was attended by Ho-Kwang Jun, Executive VP of KEPCO KPS, and Héctor Dominguis, CEO of GDES. It was, GDES says, oriented to share experiences, resources, and capabilities to advance common goals.
Thanks to this alliance, GDES consolidates and expands its capabilities in innovation, technology, and operations & maintenance services, thereby strengthening its value proposition for the Spanish nuclear sector and boosting its strategic growth in international markets.
