Growing collaboration between the Spanish and French nuclear industries
Foro Nuclear, in collaboration with ICEX Spain and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Paris, organized the 5th Spain-France Nuclear Industry Conference to expand synergies and cooperation between nuclear companies from both countries.
Over 60 representatives from 45 companies came together on April 2 at the Embassy of Spain in France (Paris), to participate in a new edition of the Spain-France nuclear industry conference. The event featured presentations of the Spanish and French nuclear markets, as well as an overview of nuclear development in Europe through the perspective of Nucleareurope.
200 bilateral meetings
The objective of this business meeting, organized by Foro Nuclear, ICEX, and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Paris, was to promote collaboration between French and Spanish nuclear companies. With this purpose, as in previous editions, presentations were held on the current state of nuclear energy in each country, as well as on the capabilities, products, and services offered by the participating companies. In addition, up to 200 bilateral meetings took place, fostering the exchange of ideas and opportunities.
The 5th Spain-France Nuclear Industry Conference was opened by María Paz Ramos, Chief Economic and Commercial Counselor of Spain in Paris, and featured a presentation by Foro Nuclear highlighting the capabilities and innovation of the Spanish nuclear industry, as well as the key role of nuclear energy in Spain, particularly in the context of a nuclear phase-out that needs to be re-evaluated.
